Perth Glory set sights on record A-League points haul
Perth Glory extend their unbeaten run to 10 games as they increase their lead at the top of the A-League.
Central Coast Mariners found themselves the leaders at halftime but couldn't keep it as Sydney hit back in the second half.
The Western Sydney Wanderers claim back-to-back wins for first time since February 2018.
The Newcastle Jets scored two fantastic second half goals to zoom away from Melbourne City.
Wellington Phoenix scored first against the run of play before a Keisuke Honda penalty meant the two sides would share the points.
Perth Glory are on the same path as some of the A-League's greatest teams, with the competition's season points haul record still a possibility.
Tony Popovic's men moved nine points clear on the competition ladder over the weekend with a 4-0 thrashing of Brisbane lifting them to 46 points from 19 matches.
If the Glory maintain that ratio for the remaining eight games of the season they are on track to finish on 65 points.
Since the A-League began in 2005, only three teams have eclipsed 60 or more...
